About the role

We are searching for an Office Manager who will ensure the efficient and smooth operation of the office, supporting employees and facilitating productivity while managing administrative tasks and office resources. You will

  • look after day-to-day office administration (office supplies, building management, travel booking, )
  • organize team and investor events
  • support with recruitment and onboarding of new team members
  • care for the wellness of the ZeroJet team and suggest improvements
  • participate on the health amp; safety committee, championing health and safety across the organisation
  • process receipts and invoices (Xero / Dext / Dear Inventory) and help maintain the company accounts inbox
  • prepare weekly payroll (check timesheets, etc)

As a fast-moving company, we adopt new techniques amp; technologies on a regular basis so you must be ready for constant learning and embracing new technologies. We expect a person with people focussed mindset and excellent interpersonal skills. We believe in listening to everyone’s opinions no matter what level you are at, and we also take pride in doing things properly so you must have a keen eye for detail.

Requirements

  • 3+ Years experience in either HR or office management for a small or medium sized organisation.
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in Excel and Word
  • Understanding of Health amp; Safety in an office and production environment.
  • Ability of understanding and emphasizing with the concerns and feelings of employees to maintain a positive work environment.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • Strong attention to detail.
