I am familiar with the basic concepts of food handling, storage, inventory and customer relations.
The desire of this applicant is to encounter a firm which will help me to further hone my skills within a
productive environment. I am more than happy to work as a part of a team while my experience allows
me to function independently if the need arises. I am a proactive young girl willing to learn more.
-Assisting the Chef in the preparation and cooking of food, as required
-Directs food preparation and collaborates with Head Chef.
-Help in the Design of food and drink menu.
-oversees and supervises kitchen staff.
-Assists with menu planning, inventory and management of supplies.
-Resourcefully solve any issues that arise and seize control of any problematic situation.
-Manage and train kitchen staff, establish a working schedule and assess staff’s performance.
-Examining foodstuffs to ensure quality regulation temperature of ovens grills and other cooking equipment.
- Set up the kitchen.
-Receiving checking and signing all deliveries.
- Putting away all deliveries.
- Rotating stock.
- Keep the chiller, freezer and dry store organized and tidy.
- Keep food labelled, dated, well covered and rotated.
-Following all hygiene and Health and Safety regulations within the kitchen.
-Operating cash registers, and other electronics.
