Our purpose built offices close to Auckland Airport is home to New Zealand’s largest Distribution Centre and our Support Centre where our team of 1000 people strong, all strive towards becoming one of the most customer driven retailers in the world.About the roleWe have an amazing opportunity for an Assistant Category Manager, looking after Fresh Produce to join our awesome Merchandise team. Reporting to the Category Manager, you’ll be responsible for a number of products across Fresh produce which means you’ll:· Build relationships with store owners, and suppliers to support sales and margin growth· Look after daily sales to your stores including offering deals and help to grow sales across the overall produce department· Start the day at 6:00am, work a Saturday and be on call on a Sunday once a monthAbout youIdeally you’ll come from a background in buying or from a store and experience in FMCG or Fresh Produce would be beneficial so you can hit the ground running.
