What you'll be doing - Te whakamahereAs a Property and Facilities Assistant, you are NZTE's receptionist who will thrive managing our front of house. This is a vital role as you will act as the brand ambassador and face of NZTE, by providing manaakitanga (hospitality, kindness, support) to our customers, visitors and NZTE people.
You will also be responsible for ensuring that our people feel comfortable, engaged and work at their best through a well-maintained environment. This includes maintaining and managing supplies in our kitchens and meeting rooms, organising couriers and mail, assisting with coordinating building maintenance, and providing support to the Property and Facilities team.
You will be interacting with the many visitors to the Wellington Office and be part of the team coordinating the smooth running of the Wellington office.
What you'll need to be successful - O PukengaWe are looking for someone who is a customer-focused superstar, who is known for using superior initiative to solve problems before and when they happen. You will possess an enthusiastic can-do approach and are someone who loves working daily with both internal staff and external customers. You will be passionate about continuous improvement and can ideate and get on with implementing the improvements suggested.
You will also be an amazing communicator with an excellent eye for detail, and be proficient in the MS Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint).
Considerable experience in a front of house corporate office environment is advantageous.
