This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified and experienced financial manager looking to further develop their commercial management skills. The successful candidate must be commercially astute, strategic, have high level communications and partnership skills and be willing to roll their sleeves up.
Reporting to the CFO, you will oversee the finance function, providing comprehensive reporting and will be responsible for the commercial management of projects, ensuring profitability and risk and losses are minimised.
Commercial Management
- Oversee the commercial and financial management of projects through the lifecycle of the project.
- Partner with project teams to ensure commercial and financial efficiency of projects.
- Analyse project commercials to identify areas for revenue growth.
- Look for opportunities to upskill project teams in commercial acumen.
- Work with Practice Group leads to assist with identifying key drivers and opportunities within their Practice Groups.
Finance
- Provide financial leadership within the team to support the business to achieve sound financial performance.
- Deliver and develop sound financial analysis, interpretation, insights and commentary to managers to assist in business decision making
- Develop and maintain robust fee forecast models to enable forward planning and decision-making process.
- Complete forecasts and budgets to ensure accurate and timely information is available.
Requirements
- Chartered Accountant / CPA qualification.
- 10 years’+ Business Analyst, Financial Analyst or similar experience.
- Extensive business and team leadership experience is beneficial.
- Advanced analytical, numeracy and reasoning.
- Strong commercial acumen.
- Highly organised and deadline driven.
- Advanced partnering skills, understanding what is necessary to convey a clear message.
- Presentation, ability to convey financial information in an understandable and meaningful way
