Key Responsibilities
- Manage Night Team Operations
- Assist Front Desk during busy check in and check out to ensure guests are receiving the best possible services
- Have in place security procedures. Cash, guests’ personal possessions, incident reports.
- Responsible for leading emergency procedures and liaising with emergency services to ensure the safety of all our guests and team members
- Monitor the appearance, standards, and performance of the Front Office team on shift with an emphasis on training and teamwork
- Ensure team members have an up-to-date knowledge of all room categories and amenities
- Ensure staffing levels cover business demands and on-going training
- Ensure communication meetings are conducted and post-meeting minutes generated
- Comply with the Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act 2012 and amendments, Smoke Free Environments Act 1990 and the Gambling Act 2003 New Zealand Legislation
- Comply with the terms and conditions of the premises liquor licences
Requirements
Required Qualifications amp; Experiences
- NZ NZQF Diploma (ANZSCO Skill Level 2), or 1-3 years of relevant hotel front desk experience
- Current Managers Certificate in accordance with the Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act 2012
- Knowledge of PMS
- Advanced Computer Skills MS Office Suite
