We are looking for a an experienced Senior Financial Accountant to join our fast-growing team based in central Auckland for a 6 month contract. As a newly established finance team, this role we help set up a number of foundational elements within our finance environment.
The role will include the following key tasks:
- Assisting us with our ERP implementation, including UAT testing and data migration
- Completing our financial statements template, including the notes to the accounts,
- Establishing our fixed asset register and collating our lease data, as we integrate a new business,
Requirements
You’ll be an experienced Senior Financial Accountant who has:
- Significant ERP experience, and ideally experience in an ERP implementation
- A strong understanding of Financial Reporting Standards, treasury accounting would be a bonus.
- Fantastic communication skills in all formats
- A creative approach to problem-solving
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multiple internal and external stakeholders
- A recognition and embrace of differences and diversity in the workplace
- A growth mindset and desire for continuous improvement
