About the role
As a Senior Project Manager within our Group IT Operations team, you will be tasked with providing delivery management services across a large security project primary responsibility for delivering successful outcomes internally and externally. You’ll use a mix of Project Methodologies to bring your project to the finish line on time and on budget, working closely with internal stakeholders and delivery teams to smooth out any kinks in the plan. The role will have financial management responsibilities, so you’ll be managing large budgets and using your commercial skills to navigate around our commercial agreements.
What you’ll do
• Help the organisation to deliver complex Infrastructure focused solutions, across an enterprise environment.
• Build and manage relationships across a wide range of parties through to senior level managers
• Manage budgets and resourcing; flagging any risk areas and working with relevant stakeholders to bring everything in line.
• Continually develop expertise and broader skill sets to provide additional capabilities and value to Datacom and our clients
What you’ll bring
We need people who are engaging, intelligent and driven in their approach to client satisfaction. Naturally, you will be an excellent communicator and will come from a successful background of Enterprise IT project delivery.
You’ll have:
- Experience in the implementation of a range of IT based Solutions
- Experience in IT Security and large change projects
- Experience with the gathering of business requirements and ability to see the limitations and dig through the weeds
- Demonstrable experience in people management when it comes to delivery and mentoring of Junior Project employees.
- Ability to manage complex issues of diverse scope where analysis of situation or data requires evaluation of a variety of factors, including an understanding of current business trends.
- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent customer relationship building and management skills.
- PRINCE2 or PMI certification desirable
- Experience managing projects with a mix of Waterfall and Agile principal
