We seek an experienced and knowledgeable Organic Gardener/ Horticulturist who will work alongside the school teaching and learning team, the learners, and our parent community. To provide outdoor hands on learning to cultivate food for school programs. To grow, harvest, experiment, innovate, and to create magical teaching moments in our green house and campus food gardens.

This job role would suit a self-motivated and innovative person, together with a good level of fitness and an ability to do some heavy lifting.
The successful candidate will ideally (but not necessarily) hold a nationally recognized qualification in horticulture and be able to utilize the skills and knowledge gained from study and relevant work experience to add value to the Green School Classroom Gardens.
Applicants for this position should have NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa.
We take child safety seriously and the successful applicant will need to meet the requirements of the Vulnerable Children Act of 2014 and a clear police record.
