Job Description

Our client is looking for a Office Assistant to join their Palmerston North office.

Your day to day will be different but your ultimate goal will be keeping the office running like a well-oiled machine. This could include anything from catering, couriers, meeting rooms, visitors to stationery.

Based at the receptionst desk, you’ll provide a consistent experience to anyone who comes through the doors and naturally make them feel welcome and comfortable. Your unsurprising enthusiasm to help will mean that you’ll be ready to roll your sleeves up before you’re even asked and be fast to take action. You’ll also be in the know of the goings on in the office and make sure when things need doing, well, they’re done.

You’ll be juggling a lot and will be able to manage your time well to ensure timeframes are met and results are high quality. Your initiative and confidence will be clear when you interact with others and you’ll be a collaborative team player and communicator. With your previous experience working within an office environment in administration or reception will mean you'll be ready to go from day dot.
