About the role:

We are looking for an IT engineer or administrator with a keen interest in cybersecurity to join our engineering team in a newly created role. You will be responsible for ensuring the devices and applications which our team use to deliver cybersecurity services to customers are secured, maintained and optimised.

Critical areas of focus will include:

  • Microsoft 365 Administration and support including lifecycle management of MS Teams environments and Microsoft 365 workload.
  • Maintenance, support, and troubleshooting our EUC estate
  • Support and maintain our MS Intune environment
  • Maintain deployed applications using PatchMyPC
  • User and Group administration
  • User License Assignment
  • Administration of Privileged Identity Management
  • Support and maintenance of 3rd party SaaS applications such as Atlassian Jira/Confluence
  • Ensuring all modern workplace systems are documented appropriately with Confluence
  • Hardware ordering and provision to staff
  • Reimaging/reset and retirement of hardware devices according to process

Skills/Experience We Can’t Do Without

  • Desktop support experience including providing remote support to end users
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 including Intune, Exchange Online, SharePoint and Teams
  • Orchestration, Automation and scripting with PowerShell
  • Promotes and engages in information sharing. Comfortable providing and receiving technical assistance and support to/from other team members
  • Contributes positively within a team environment
  • Good time management
  • Solid understanding of cybersecurity concepts, with the ability to apply them to real-world scenarios


Skills/ Experience we’d like

  • Experience with administering Atlassian Jira/Jira Service Management
  • An understanding of Microsoft 365 Licensing
  • Any of the following certifications: AZ/MS/SC-900, MD-100, MD-101, MD-203, AZ-104
