About the role
We are searching for a talented Test Engineer to join our fun team here in Auckland. You will take responsibility of the execution of our engineering and validation testing and contribute to the generation and maintenance of the test plans. These test activities will be on the water tests (real life testing) and production / workshop testing.
You will be supported by engineering and production team members having extensive experience setting up test environments amp; production testing.
As a fast-moving company, we adopt new techniques amp; technologies on a regular basis so you must be ready for constant learning and embracing new technologies. We expect an easy-going person that will enjoy rising to the challenge and have fun pushing the limits of technology. We believe in listening to everyone’s opinions no matter what level you are at, and we also take pride in doing things properly so you must have a keen eye for detail.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in relevant field (preferably mechatronics)
- Product test experience in an engineering / high tech environment
- Experience with creating validation test plans
- Excellent documentation and reporting skills
- Great troubleshooting skills
- Hands on experience with Quality Management Systems
Bonus Skills
- Boating experience, as there will be lots of on the water testing involved.
