Mons Royale is an action and adventure sports brand. We are makers of nature's performance apparel utilising merino wool and other natural fibers for their superior sustainability and performance benefits. It is our mission to shift the rider from synthetics to natural fibers and since launching in 2009 we have amassed a fanbase including many of the best skiers, snowboarders, and mountain bikers.
We are seeking a results-driven Store Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our Outlet store in Chirstchurch. You will be responsible for managing the team and accurately managing store inventory. You will drive brand awareness and presence in the Christchurch area.
Key Tasks
Take ownership of the operations of the store, delivering a organised, efficient and high preforming retail outlet.
Be a product expert and translate the Mons branding and values to an enjoyable customer experience.
Manage the store inventory, responsible for the accuracy of the stock on hand, ensure proper processes are been followed by all team members. Including weekly and annual Stock counts.
Proactively lead, coach and inspire the store team to deliver the best customer service and sales results.
Responsible for cash management for the store including balancing register and banking.
Work with Head Office team in Wanaka to provide Customer/Product/Store feedback.
Actively promote and abide by occupational safety and health regulations to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and all company employees.
Requirements
2+ years of experience retail industry or a similar role. Background in action amp; adventure sports, traditional sports, or fashion industry preferred.
Track record in delivering excellent customer experience and sales results.
Desire and ability to work within an entrepreneurial, results led environment, where we take our work seriously but not each other.
