Job Description
We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team
The role will be working across different active project portfolios and leading the Quantity Surveyor Team. You will need to demonstrated experience in cost management, residential and commercial price estimation
You will be involved with all aspects of the process from pricing, forecasting, budgeting, claims and financial account management.
Key responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Pre-construction assessments to prepare tender documentation
- Scope and price variations, sub-contractor negotiation
- Contract documentation and preparing reports
- Post construction follow up
- Stakeholder management
- Lead and develop direct reports
Requirements
- 10 years Quantity Surveying experience
- Quantity Surveying qualification is preferred
- Experience with commercial and residential contracts.
- Stakeholder management experience
- Proven ability to lead a small team
- Proven ability to work to deadlines and financial budget
- Exceptional communication skills
- New Zealand working rights
