What you’ll be doing - TewhakamahereReporting to the Director Legal and Property, the Business Operations Manager plays an important role in leading, maintaining, delivering and improving NZTE’s business processes, including being responsible for the management and support of our core operational processes that are part of NZTE’s Strategy, Performance and Partners (SPP) division.This role will involve working with a diverse range of senior stakeholders covering a wide range of responsibilities including:· Leading our procurement processes and reporting to other NZ Inc organisations· Managing our ServiceNow Procurement workflow· Leading our internal policy framework to ensure our rules and procedures are clear, simple and used by our people· Managing our global insurance portfolio to ensure that key operational risks are adequately covered· Supporting the NZTE Privacy and Security Officer to keep our organisation aware and safe. · Leading and collaborating with the SPP Leadership team to identify and implement core operational improvements to deliver a simple, user-centric and cohesive experience to our people
What you’ll need to be successful - OPukengaWe are looking for someone with corporate operations experience, who is driven by an unwavering customer-focus mindset, has a desire for making things simple, can manage multiple workstreams simultaneously, works well under pressure and is not afraid to roll their sleeves up with the team to dive into the details. Experience in change management would also be beneficial.Having excellent attention to detail and the ability to work on your own and as a team is required, along with having strong written and communication skills and the ability to adapt your communication style to your audience.
