Job Description

Location: New Zealand - 100% remote work-from-home position (You must permanently live amp; have the right to work in New Zealand to apply for this position)

Pay Rate: NZ$29.50 per hour

Contract: 6 month contract with an extension highly likely - Self-employed contractor. Responsible for own taxes.

Hours of work: 30 - 37.5 hours per week

The Role:

Are you an experienced and qualified ECE practitioner who is passionate about education? Are you ambitious and proactive about supporting ECE kaiako across the country? We’re looking for a dedicated educator and advocate to join the Twinkl NZ team!

You will be responsible for driving the growth of our ECE segment through outreach marketing. You’ll connect the New Zealand ECE community with the Twinkl website via specified marketing channels (social media, email, blog, webinars, etc) that you will work on daily. You will highlight and demonstrate the benefits of Twinkl’s ECE product through those marketing channels and, in doing so, grow Twinkl’s ECE customer base and drive revenue growth.

You’ll be joining a hard-working team of New Zealand-based Twinkl team members with additional support from Twinkl HQ in the U.K.

You’ll be a key player within the New Zealand team, joining the NZ operations team and helping to support the New Zealand Country Manager in everyday decision making and planning. You will be a confident and knowledgeable educator who can influence others with your expertise. You will be comfortable on camera/audio as you connect with your customers through live and pre-recorded videos and potentially podcasts. You will work with the production team to help inform the development of resources for the ECE market. You will be commercially minded as you showcase our ECE product by collaborating with external influencers across New Zealand. You will empower fellow ECE educators to be the best practitioners they can be by fulfilling their support and resource needs.

Responsibilities amp; Key Performance Indicators:

  • Build thriving social media communities for ECE educators that hit specific growth, reach, and engagement targets each month.
  • Write, edit, film, and publish engaging traffic-generating blogs/feature videos/webinars each week that are highly relevant to your segments and generate clicks to the Twinkl website.
  • Create engaging weekly emails (newsletters) for your segments that inform, empower, and connect them to the Twinkl website.
  • Collaborate with external non-Twinkl influencers and recruit brand ambassadors to increase brand awareness of Twinkl’s ECE product.
  • Increase new customer subscriptions and hit specified revenue targets through the marketing actions outlined above.

This exciting, fast-paced role involves strategic planning and reactive work as you pivot and respond to your growing segments’ needs and demands.

Requirements

To succeed in the role, you will have the following skillset:

  • Minimum three years of recent ECE teaching experience and expert knowledge of the ECE sector in New Zealand.
  • Social media savviness -Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok - you must love social media and feel confident running/learning to run multiple channels.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Up-to-date tech skills - Google Suite, Google Classroom (or similar
