Hospitality Assistant

Reporting to the Customer Experience Manager, we are looking for a Hospitality Assistant to work with the hospitality team 15 hours per week to ensure hospitality experiences are set up and packed down with exquisite attention to detail and care, as well as assistance with day-to-day hospitality tasks as required.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

• Set up and break down all tastings for groups and individuals as required, including laying out of tables, polishing and laying out of glasses, sourcing and opening of wines
• Set up and break down all lunches and dinners, on and off-site, for groups and individuals as required
• Set up, clean down and serve Cellar Door platters with keen attention to details and health standards
• Prepare and provision The Shack for guest arrival (may require occasional weekend work)
• Assist with preparations for extended group visits, including set-up of dinners, lunches, tastings, on and off-site, and off-site excursions
• Assist with preparations for Cloudy Bay hospitality events
• Maintain hospitality table wear, linen, and provisions
• Maintain the hospitality building to ensure it is always clean, tidy and ready for visitors
• Assist with the day-to-day requirements of Cellar Door as required
