Job Description
This role is a sales role and is responsible for business development and direct sales to grow Youtap's market share and footprint across Oceania.
Youtap is a leader in payment processing and digital wallet. Youtap enables its customers to drive revenue, loyalty and market acquisition through innovative payments, transaction processing, customer management, business insights and loyalty.
- You will be a sales manager or executive in a financial services sector selling to retailers, banks, payment service providers or alternative payment companies across New Zealand and Australia. You maybe working for one of our Payment Aggregators in a sales engineering or sales management role.
- You will have demonstrable strategic selling experience with SaaS experience.
- You will have a strong direct sales background with demonstrable performance. The successful candidate will be intermit with the complete sales process.
- The role will be responsible for outreach and campaigning, you will use all the tools (email, social media, your own contacts etc.) to create opportunities with senior / C-level executives in medium and large banks across your designated territory.
- You will be a self-starter, you are hungry for the excitement of nurturing large complex deals through to closure. You will be resourceful and have an intermit knowledge of your market, you will know or discover the influencers and decision makers and will have a strong existing contact base.
- You will be used to reaching out to senior level executives within prospective customers. You will use our CRM to build your pipeline and will keep this updated with call reports and relevant information. You will contribute to RFP's and RFI's and will be able to present and demonstrate our solutions to your prospective customers.
This role is not an indirect sales role and is not a desk bound role. It is expected that you will be engaging with new and existing customers face to face and through Microsoft teams.

The Sales Manager Digital Wallet will have the following attributes:
- You will need to be demonstrable experience delivering a sales quota, and used to over achievement.
- You will be a collaborative worker and used to using all internal resources to deliver your KPI's.
- You will be an effective communicator, able to build trust within your prospect customers, your team and management.
- You will have in-depth understanding of the market. You will have experience dealing with payment companies, large retailers, banks or payment service providers across New Zealand and Australia.
- Experience of developing business in key and developing markets.
Requirements
- New Zealand Residency or Current New Zealand Work Visa.
- Minimum 6 - 8 years of measurable, successful sales performance in similar job functions in the point of sale, retail, banking, payment or financial services software industry.
- Knowledge with financial software products.
- Proven self-starter with a high degree of initiative.
