About the Role
Invenco’s cloud team is looking for an Architect within our Cloud team, that has strong people skills and excellent .net or Node.JS coding experience. Our cloud solution is a key aspect in the additional services that we're able to provide to our customers and they can then provide to theirs and is going from strength to strength. We have a great team and are looking for someone who can take them to the next level.
Key duties will include:
- Participate in the delivery of solutions that will deliver to defined expectations
- Drive rich architectural discussions to ensure solutions are designed for successful deployment in the cloud
- Build deep relationships with senior stakeholders
- As a key member of the Cloud development team, ensure success in building and migrating applications, software and services on our cloud platform
- Conduct a variety of training sessions
- Capture and share best-practice knowledge amongst the solutions architect community
- Act as a technical liaison between key stakeholders
About you
You will either be an experienced Solutions Architect or a Senior Software Engineer (.net/Node.JS) that participates in solution architecture but hasn’t moved into an architect role.
In addition, you will have as much of the following wish list as possible:
- 10+ years of relevant software development experience, with at least 2 years in a solution design function
- Strong technical experience across a broad range of technologies - applications architecture, data/integration, infrastructure, and security
- Advanced knowledge and experience with Object Orientated and Scripting languages i.e. .net and Node
- Experience with OOAD and software design patterns
- Experience working independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- Knowledge of distributed software development techniques, such as RESTful interfaces and event driven architecture.
- Experience managing production Kubernetes infrastructure with exposure to the use of cloud vendor Kubernetes solutions
- Strong solution documentation skills
- Solid knowledge and understanding of various database technologies, including relational
- Experience with code testing (JUnit and automated) and code quality metrics
