About the Role

Our Datapay Product Team is looking for a Senior Product Analyst with a focus on the pricing and monetisation of our product portfolio.

You’ll be working closely with the product, marketing, sales and finance team to drive the monetisation potential of new and existing products and offers.

We are looking for an experienced, well rounded pricing expert with strong analytical skills and a passion to solving problems in a structured, data driven way.

This is a high impact, senior role reporting to the Associate Director of Product.

What you’ll do

  • Analyse the monetisation potential of target and existing customers and markets, including market and industry trends, strategies and tactics.
  • Determine the optimal price points for different offers, packages and services, including the different adoption vs. monetisation scenarios that cater to the business’ revenue goals and target market.
  • Monitor and track the overall adoption and profitability of products through high quality and timely product analytics and reporting.
  • Engage with relevant internal stakeholders to drive product profitability and the execution of product monetisation strategies.
  • Provide subject matter expertise on commercial and product monetisation specific areas as applicable.
  • Produce high quality documentation to record the subject matter expertise, recommendations and advice given.
  • Produce high quality reporting and visualisation dashboards to present insights, options and recommendations in a clear and impactful format.

What you’ll bring

  • Strong data literacy handling large customer datasets, including data visualisation abilities, distilling and presenting complex insights.
  • Experience handling complex models and queries in Excel or SQL tools.
  • Experience working with a range of data analytics tool (Amplitude, Mixpanel), data visualisation tools (Power BI,Tableau) and statistical tools (R, Python etc.).
  • Experience presenting technical analyses in clear and impactful formats (written summaries, live demos, presentations, etc).
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to lead meetings and provide guidance in complex situations.
  • An understanding of SaaS product monetisation constructs (offers, pricing constructs, go to market strategies, product analytics).
  • A degree in Data Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, or other relevant discipline is preferred.
