Requirements
The gig
Reporting to the Operations Manager, we are looking for a sharp, proactive and an amazing generalist to be our new Technical Support Manager. This role is responsible for supporting the Operations Manager in ensuring the continuous operation of Figured’s internal systems and commitment to security and compliance. Naturally you thrive in a fast-paced, flexible and supportive scale-up culture.
Responsibilities within the role include and are not limited to:
System Administration
- Being the go-to for everything hardware and software support, from Macbooks to Zoom Rooms to the office tunes
- Making sure fellow Figgies have the right access to the systems they need and reviewing this on a regular basis, including during onboarding, role changes and off-boarding
- Champion the proper use and setup of systems within the business
- Managing our IT asset register and ordering right equipment for staff
- Enabling our RevOps function through report and dashboard preparation
Security and Compliance Administration
- Being the security gatekeeper, whether that be through reporting security breaches to the Operations Manager, managing regular security training, making sure all devices for staff are secure and up to date, and just being the go-to for anything security related.
- Becoming our SOC2 expert within Figured and working with our InfoSec team to implement improvements, collate evidence for audits, and maintain our controls.
- Providing ongoing support to the Operations Manager on documenting our annual penetration tests, BCP and DR tests
To ace the role, you will need:
- Broad experience as a systems or security administrator
- Great communication skills including written communication
- Supportive and always willing to go the extra mile with loads of initiative
- Quick learner and willing to get involved across the business
- Basic knowledge of AML
- Good eye for detail, managing spreadsheets, specs and detailed technical documents is where you thrive
- Broad experience managing internal systems, including administration of access
- Generic knowledge on infosec and experience with security audits, brownie points for SOC2 Compliance experience.
- Able to take complex concepts and processes and simplify them
- Can manage process of idea to execution
- High level of organisational intelligence
