Your new role
We have a great opportunity for a Supply Planning Team Leader to join the Supply amp; Innovation team based in Avondale.
Reporting directly into the Head of Supply Chain and Operations, as our Supply Planning Team Leader, you will support our purpose by:
- Ensuring Supply Planners manage the efficient procurement of finished goods and components, plan and schedule overseas vendor capacity and dispatch requirements
- Ensuring accurate supply plans of product and material needs are in line with sales, category, and operations requirements
- Providing and managing performance metrics
- Analysing data and making recommendations on Product Obsolescence, Product Performance, Stock Level Optimisation, Safety Stock Holdings, Backorder Management and other key areas required by the business
- Optimising the business MRP planning systems and maintaining accurate ERP master data within the D365 system
- Identifying and generating KPI’s, graphs and reports to assist with Samp;OP, Vendor performance review processes and other key areas to effectively run the business
About you
As our Supply Planning team leader with a minimum of 5 years’ previous in a manufacturing and supply environment, you’ll be:
- A strong planner and organiser with excellent supply chain skills
- Great at team building with the ability to engender a strong learning culture with teamwork
- Able to influence and negotiate suppliers to achieve improved commercial outcomes.
- Qualified in Purchasing/ Planning or in a related field or have an equivalent level of expertise gained from a combination of experience, training or professional accreditation.
