What you’ll be doing | Tewhakamahere
Sustainability is a strategic priority for NZTE. It needs to be woven through all that we do, both as an organisation and to proactively encourage and support NZ businesses to integrate sustainability into the way they do business.As the Sustainability Analyst you’ll lead the decarbonization of NZTE under the Carbon Neutral Government Programme (CNGP) from measurement to reduction plans and strategy across New Zealand and international offices. NZTE is currently a government leader in this work and we want to continue to lead and share our learnings with other agencies and ministries.You will also have an important role to play in supporting the wider sustainability team through project coordination and administration to inspire and support New Zealand exporters to lift their sustainability game. You will gain an insight into best practice sustainability of the New Zealand government and New Zealand businesses operating across the world.For more information on the role please click here to view the Position Description.
What you’ll need to be successful | OPukenga
You will have an analytical mindset with experience collecting and measuring data in Excel. You will be a confident communicator who is able to build capability in our staff and leaders through webinars and internal communications. We don’t require someone who comes from a sustainability background, however a passion or interest in this area is a must!
