About the Role

As the People Experience Manager, you will support our employees from the moment they join Developers Institute and throughout their entire employee journey.

Responsible for executing the company's People Experience plans and goals, you will work closely with the GM of Operations providing a world-class employee experience, which includes attracting, developing, and retaining top talent.

Responsible for collecting, analysing and interpreting employee data, the People Experience Manager will have a knack for being in tune with employee sentiment, cultivating a workplace where people are motivated and inspired to do great things.

You will also be responsible for helping to promote 100% adoption of the company's OKR system from companies, teams and individuals.

What you’ll do

  • Build a strong employer brand and value proposition
  • Develop career ladders, promotion and compensation plans
  • Ensure all company employees are aware of and aligned with the company's mission, vision, goals, and values.
  • Implement CFRs (Conversations Feedback Recognition) to promote transparency, accountability, empowerment, and teamwork throughout the organisation.
  • Lead the recruitment process from end-to-end, from sourcing to onboarding
  • Design and implement systems and processes to ensure a smooth employee lifecycle.
  • Handle employee relations issues as they arise.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure that all company policies and procedures are being followed.
  • Adjust the company's HR policies and practices accordingly to changes in the labour market.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant labour laws.

Requirements

  • Proven work experience in a similar role
  • Comfortable leading the documentation of HR processes and increasing their efficiencies, reliability and accuracy.
  • You can work self-sufficiently and handle end-to-end responsibility for our HR operations.
  • Able to scope and execute projects easily, as well as deal with an ever-changing and fast-growing environment.
  • The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of automation and data analysis, as well as experience working across New Zealand and Australia.
  • Fluent in English, both verbally and written.
  • Easily work with technology and tools ie: G-suite, Jira, HRIS and data
