Senior Microsoft Dynamics 365 Technical Consultant

Our Microsoft Dynamics 365 team in Wellington has an opening for a competent Senior Microsoft Dynamics 365 Technical Consultant who is able to work independently as well as part of a team. You will be joining one of the most experienced Microsoft Dynamics 365 teams in New Zealand who manage many interesting and challenging projects.

This is also a customer facing role, and you must be able to demonstrate thorough technical knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365, with specific focus on the Customer Engagement range of products.

The salary range for this specific position is $90,000 - $115,000 per annum. Your minimum guaranteed hours of work shall be 40 hours per week, between the hours of 8am and 6pm Monday to Friday.

You will have:

  • A minimum of five years of experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement and earlier versions of Microsoft CRM
  • Experience in implementing CRM projects including consulting, analysis, design, configuration, customisation and delivery.
  • An appropriate degree or diploma in the field of Information Technology and hold the appropriate up-to-date product certifications is preferred
  • Understanding and ability to design, build plugins in C# and JavaScript
  • Knowledge and experience with Dataverse and the Power Platform preferred
  • Knowledge and experience with PCF preferred
  • Knowledge and experience delivering Power Apps and PowerApps Portals preferred
  • Knowledge and experience with Azure DevOps is preferred
  • Knowledge and experience with data migration tools and SSIS is preferred
  • Comprehensive understanding of the full SDLC is required
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving abilities
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Team players who are highly customer focused
  • Proven experience with the delivery of high quality solutions according to set time-lines and budgets are essential

Your responsibilities will include but will not be limited to:

  • Take responsibility for the design, development and delivering of Dynamics 365 technology solutions to Theta’s customers that meet agreed business requirements within timescale estimates.
  • Undertake all implementation tasks as required, from analysis through to deployment of the solutions for projects.
  • Participate in and lead any approved Ramp;D efforts for the Practice and ensure Theta generates a ROI for all time spent.
  • Work on site at customer’s offices when required to facilitate the implementation of projects.
  • Attend project and other meetings as required.
  • Create documentation and planning for the handover of projects to the Service Desk and provide escalation support for customers.
