About The Role - Te mahi

We are looking for an Assistant Front Office Manager to lead our Front Office team and ensure we provide excellent customer service.

In order to succeed as a Assistant Front Office Manager, you should be observant and have the ability to think critically and efficiently. You should be a skilled communicator with excellent problem solving, observation, and interpersonal skills.


Responsibilities:

  • Hiring and training staff to provide excellent service to customers.
  • With the Front Office team, you'll develop, review and maintain service quality within Sudima brand standards
  • You'll work on rosters, SOP’s, ordering of stock, payroll, the strategies and implementation of those for the Front Office
  • Drive our vision, mission, objectives and values with a culture of taking initiative
  • Leading and motivating staff
  • We are looking for someone who is flexible with their availability to be successful, you will need to be able to work a typical hospitality roster and that means covering all shifts across a 7-day rotating roster

Requirements

  • Front Office management experience is preferred
  • Excellent problem-solving and customer service skills
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Willingness to work during peak hours, including weekends and holidays
  • Effectively delegate responsibilities and maximize resources.
  • Have sound understanding of the Front Office operation
  • Experience ordering stock, creating rosters and processing payroll
  • Proven ability in leading a team
  • Assist with training and developing the team to achieve hotel standards
  • A high level of organisation, time management and problem-solving skills
