About The Role - Te mahi

Sudima Queenstown is a new 4.5-star hotel in the bustling Frankton area conveniently located in the Five Mile retail precinct. with views of the surrounding landscapes, high quality fit-out, well-appointed rooms, restaurant, bar and conference facilities.

We are currently seeking experienced applicants to join our team to produce creative and innovative gourmet dishes.

This is role would suit applicants who thrive in a busy Kitchen environment and are keen to learn and grow their skills and experience in a great team.

The Role

We are currently seeking a Senior Experienced Chef who is keen to unleash their talent and join our team to produce creative and innovative gourmet dishes. Podium is a vibrant new restaurant with an upbeat atmosphere.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Produce excellent quality dishes to brand standards for the restaurant, bar, conferencing and room service on a day to day basis
  • Prep completion and supporting the team to ensure the kitchen is always well prepared, clean and hygienic for each shift
  • Offer flexibility with dietary needs and ensure excellent food hygiene and safety standard are adhered to
  • Foster a great team environment of cooperation and respect between co-workers
  • Ability to work flexible hours, weekends and public holidays, based on a seven day roster.

Senior Experienced Chef Full Time

We seek team members with a great attitude who have previous proven experience of at least two years in a medium to large kitchen along with food safety certificate and appropriate cookery qualifications. An understanding of culinary trends and a passion to gain new knowledge is key to this role, along with planning and organising skills and an ability to work individually and in a team. Experience with function catering is advantageous. Pay rate $27.80 to $29.40
