Job Description


Switched On Building Solutions has secured a number of key contracts for 2023 here in Christchurch and are growing our Portfolio of Private Works and our Customer Base.

This brings a wonderful opportunity for an Operations Manager to join and lead the team through this exciting growth phase of the business. This opportunity is open to internal applications only at this time.


This role will see you supporting the General manager in providing direction and oversight to the business. You will be driving performance and excellence to ensure team performance and project targets are met.

This role requires someone will support the business needs and drive growth while proactively seeking and building relationships with key stakeholders to ensure new opportunities.


Key Responsibilities include (but not limited to):

  • Support the General Manager in providing direction and oversight to the Business
  • Drive performance and excellence to ensure efficiencies, financial KPI’s, team performance and project targets are met
  • Drive growth and proactively seek out and build relationships with key stake holders
  • Maintain a productive, values based and productive workforce
  • Implement, manage and Champion Health amp; Safety for the division

Requirements

  • 3+ years experience in a similar role
  • Experience in managing subcontractors
  • Excellent relationship management skills
  • Proven Leadership skills with a track record of growing individuals and teams
  • Sound building technical ability and professional attitude
  • Strong time management and communication skills with a customer centric focus.
