We’re looking for committed, professional leaders to provide clinical leadership support to the fifteen Well Child Tamariki Ora providers located across the central region on a fixed term basis until June 2023.
The Pou Tarearea was designed by the central region Well Child Tamariki Ora providers as part of the Whakapakari Hunga Tautoko Project. In addition to specialised Well Child Tamariki Ora nursing qualifications, Tamariki Ora kaimahi are cultural experts with significant in-depth knowledge and experience working with whanau Maori, and within Maori communities.
You’ll have leadership qualities that align with our values of achieving Maori health aspirations, where Te Tiriti o Waitangi and equity for Maori are embedded in your practice. It’s essential the Pou Tarearea have demonstrated experience working with Maori, Maori Health Providers, and Tamariki Ora Providers.
As part of TAS, Te Whatu Ora, these roles will lead a programme establishing and delivering supervision, support, training, and professional development for the central region Tamariki Ora provider sector.
