THE VINTAGE SEASON IS COMING!
Around Early February 2023, we will begin our harvest season in Marlborough and have a position available for an experienced and passionate Laboratory Technician. We offer an engaging season with a comprehensive induction and applied technical training in a modern winemaking environment. You will gain comprehensive world-standard experience and widen your network of winemaking friends.
THE VINTAGE LABORATORY TECHNICIAN ROLE
Your hours will be a minimum of 30 hours per week. During the harvest period, you may work shifts up to 12 hours in length, up to 6/7 days per week. The role will start in February and finish by the end of May.
The Vintage Laboratory Technician is responsible for assisting the Laboratory Manager in producing a wide range of analysis on juice, fermenting wines and wines during harvest. You will also work closely with the other permanent member of the laboratory.
Requirements
In order for your application to be considered, you must have:
- Previous laboratory experience as a Laboratory technician required (autoanalyzer, ferment rounds, F/TSO2 aspiration method, pH and TA,);
- The ability to lawfully work in New Zealand or obtain the right to lawfully work in New Zealand;
- Solid English language skills;
- Refined amp; efficient work style and enthusiastic attitude;
- Resilience and a good sense of humor;
