Reporting to the Regional Auckland Manager, we have an exciting opportunity available for an Operational Leader to elevate themselves and take the next step in their career. ABOUT AMBIUS

Ambius are the team responsible for the Interior Plantscapes in hotel lobbies, the clusters of plant designs in shopping centres, the green walls and floral displays you see in many restaurants and office receptions. We are responsible for providing any sized organisation with interior/exterior landscaping which engages clients and their staff through the health benefits of plants!

This is a key leadership position, responsible for all operational aspects of our Ambius product amp; services for the Upper North Island Region, based in Auckland. Leading a team of approximately 15 you will be responsible for the following outcomes:

  • Mentoring amp; Training all levels of the support and service team
  • Leading a safety culture
  • Developing, leading and managing a first class operations and service support team
  • Delivery of the operational plan
  • Managing the budget, Pamp;L, operational measures, and leave targets
  • Key Account Management
  • Driving operational efficiencies and continuous improvement to work smarter not harder
  • Full logistics and fleet management
  • Proactively manage service delivery to consistently meet customer contractual expectations to positively impact client retention and growth

For Brilliant Execution you will need:

  • A demonstrated commitment to safety and a proven track record in building a safety culture
  • The drive to lead by example and bring the team together to achieve a high standard of customer service
  • You may be currently in a Supervisory role or possess previous operational experience in a supervisory or management position within the service industry
  • Strong operational principles and experience managing logistics and scheduling systems
  • To be an engaging leader with experience in coaching and developing team members with the willingness to be a ‘hands on’ leader where required
  • Horticultural knowledge and experience is a bonus
  • Ability to focus and have a flexible approach when faced with change, completing priorities and work demands
  • Demonstrated commercial acumen to manage budgets and costs
  • Effective interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Demonstrated track record of successfully delivering against targets, KPI’s and cost efficiencies
  • The ability to positively challenge the status quo and champion continuous improvement
