Job Description
Our Finance Department are very busy and are urgently looking for an experienced Billing Officer to join their small and friendly team in Auckland.
This is an awesome opportunity for someone with good financial analysis and interpretation skills seeking a varied position. You are incredibly accurate and pay attention to detail and thrive in a fast-paced environment. With your time management and organisational skills, you are highly efficient and you love to coordinate multiple tasks at one time.
In this role you will be managing the invoicing process, following up with outstanding debts with customers and our sales team. You’ll also be supporting the Financial Accountant with regard to purchase orders, credit card transactions and preparing and submitting financial reports including compliance with with statutory reporting requirements. You'll be a support for audit requirements and as well as attending to ad hoc queries.
You will need to have an excellent communication skills, confident in dealing with a range key customers/stakeholders, and have outstanding problem solving skills.
Key skills and experience:
- 2-4 years of experience working as a Billing Officer/Specialist/Co-ordinator or in a similar position
- Proficiency in MS Excel
- Ability to work under pressure and prioritize them.
- Experience operating an end to end payroll function including related statutory filings
- Ability to work independently or in teams as and when required.
- Accuracy and deadline focus

You will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, experience working in a similar volume-based environment and a good sense of humour will certainly help!
