Our Finance Department are very busy and are seeking an efficient and result driven Payroll/AP Officer to join our small, friendly team in Auckland. This is an exciting opportunity to join a successful NZ owned technology consultancy that fosters a diverse, family friendly and inclusive company culture.
Reporting to the Head of Finance you will be responsible for taking ownership and accountability for all aspects of Theta’s payroll on MYOB ensuring the highest standards of accuracy are maintained. You will also be responsible for the Accounts Payable accounting functions and will support the Head of Finance in the weekly and monthly reporting cycles.
Other responsibilities include developing and enhancing our reporting capability from within payroll to ensure Managers have the information they need and delivering data and insights to enable effective decision-making. Your support with ad hoc queries, analysis and various finance related projects will keep your role varied and stimulating.
This role will appeal to someone who has a passion for making a real difference to the Payroll reporting side of our business. Your excellent communication skills, helpful and positive approach to staff and stakeholders and desire to support problem resolution and correct accounting treatment will be highly valued.
