PF Olsen Ltd is looking for an experienced, agile, and motivated person to fill a Senior ETS Consultant role in New Zealand. This role ideally will be based in Rotorua but we will consider applicants in other areas of New Zealand as we have 13 offices around the country.
The purpose of this role is to deliver value by providing ETS and carbon forestry expertise to clients. By developing expertise in carbon forestry, this role will provide support, explore opportunities, and manage risks for PF Olsen clients.
Requirements
- Tertiary qualification in a related field of ETS, forestry or GIS
- Experienced in performing the full range of standard ETS admin functions, such as emissions returns, add/remove (part) CAAs, transfers of participation, and offsetting.
- Experienced in carbon flow modeling, evaluating the impact of forest management decisions on low-risk carbon, and evaluating different carbon accounting options
- Highly proficient in Microsoft applications
- Client management experience
- Strong knowledge of professional writing and reporting to various clients/stakeholders
- Well-versed in the use of ArcMap and other related software packages, such as GeoMaster
- Attention to detail, strong communication and works well in a team
