The Senior QA Engineer role at Spidertracks involves implementing automated test solutions to drive our engineering culture of delivering early and often. This role suits a candidate with a growth mindset, with the opportunity to directly influence our go forward testing architectures, frameworks and tooling. This role sits within a highly collaborative environment working together with Software Engineers, Product and other parts of the business to deliver high quality customer focused solutions.

- TypeScript, Java, Python
- Docker and Linux
- GitHub Actions, Terraform, CloudFormation
Having experience with all our tech stack is beneficial but not required, with ample teaching opportunities on the job. We are more concerned with your ability and curiosity to learn new things, push the boundaries and take ownership and responsibility for your work.
Requirements
- Strong passion for developing UI and API test automation solutions
- Experience with Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment practices
- Are a self-starter who loves solving problems with technology and gets your energy by contributing to the overall success of the business
- Have an insatiable curiosity to master your technology domains whilst understanding the real-world problems that you solve
- Bring hunger, energy and passion to everything you do and thrive in a startup environment
- Are the consummate team player, adept at managing relationships, collaborating and influencing
- 3 years plus professional experience
- Ensure simplicity is practised in all demands of the role, where it just works for our customers
- Work in a cycle of continuous improvement, becoming better tomorrow than you were today in striving for excellence
- Courageously seek regular discomfort doing what’s right, over what’s easy
- Demonstrate a high-level of empathy, being open-minded to other perspectives, taking a walk in their shoes
