The Customer Manager rolewill involve developing strong relationships with an exciting portfolio of customers in the food and beverages sectors, across the Nelson amp; Marlborough region.What you’ll be doing: Te?whakamahere?Your customers will be growth focused exporters, and you will be engaging with them to plan and deliver a work programme which will strengthen their confidence and capability to export internationally. In order to build a work program together you will have a growth mindset along with a collaborative and outcomes focused working style. You will have excellent influencing skills and be comfortable operating in C-suite and investor environments. You are a problem solver, self-disciplined and have a good understanding of the complexities of international business. You will have proven experience in sustainably building and developing networks, connecting customers to the right experts to address challenges and realise opportunities.What you’ll need to be successful: OPukengaYou will be enthusiastic, resilient and a great communicator that can easily build rapport by developing strong, and trusted relationships. Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently and connect with the broader NZTE team will be paramount. You will possess passion and energy to help New Zealand businesses succeed on the global stage. The successful person for this role will need to be truly customer centric, that means you will really understand your customers' opportunities and challenges, including sharing the same beliefs and plan.
