Your new role

We are looking for an experienced, dynamic Head of NZ Supply Chain amp; Operaions to join our team in Avondale, Auckland on permanent, full-time basis. Reporting to our Country Manager for New Zealand, you will have a wide remit which includes driving the daily standard of work across the distribution centre - ensuring delivery on time sensitive supply chain deadlines, and responsibility for managing the key supplier relationships within the tapware category in order to build strong partnerships and capacity. This is a key role within our team and you will manage the efficient procurement of finished goods and components, plan and schedule overseas vendor capacity and dispatch requirements to achieve and maintain predetermined inventory levels and to maximise optimal service levels for the business. This role is also responsible for ensuring GWA Bathroom amp; Kitchen’s products are fit for purpose and consistently meet external and internal customers’ requirements.

About you

Our deal candidate will have:

  • Minimum of 15 years’ experience in logistics and supply chain management.
  • Experience in purchasing, supply negotiation, inventory management and planning, and people management.
  • Experience in quality, manufacturing and logistics management.
  • Knowledge of and skills in budgeting, monthly and annual forecasting, pricing models
  • Strong experience in negotiation and influencing
  • Outstanding relationship building skills and the ability to develop and maintain strong networks with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Reliability and integrity, with a focus on working towards deadlines and fulfilling obligations
  • Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing, supply chain or an engineering discipline or equivalent level of expertise gained from a combination of experience, training or professional accreditation
