PF Olsen Ltd is looking for an experienced environmental planner to provide nationwide resource management consenting advice to the business and be involved in the preparation and successful granting of resource consents. This role will champion environmental best practices, provide timely and cost-effective internal environmental advice, support operational staff with environmental requirements and project lead required storm response (Gisborne). You will liaise with council staff, other forest industry peers, representation of PF Olsen in consenting, compliance, and planning matters.
Requirements
- Tertiary NZ Resource Management or Forestry (with appropriate RMA experience) qualification, or equivalent.
- Familiarity with Council planning documents and processes.
- Good understanding of environmental issues and their implication for the business.
- An ability to operate computer-based management systems and decision support tools.
- Be able work effectively with a wide range of diverse stakeholders to achieve business objectives.
- Confidence and competency to work remotely
- Excellent communication skills at all levels of the business and with external stakeholders.
