We have a vacancy available in the harvest management team at PF Olsen in Gisborne. If you are an experienced and motivated Senior Harvest Manager who is looking to manage a team of 6 and looking for variety and is a team player with a can-do attitude, then you are who we are looking for!

Requirements

  • Client Management and Business Development - Clearly communicate the Harvest Management planning for specific forests to clients while ensuring expectations are well managed and achievable
  • Harvesting and Operational Management - Co-ordinate, manage and maximise harvest operations and the Log Supply Chain while maximising value to both the clients and the business, in a timely manner
  • Contractor Management - Prepare and engage contractors with the required documentation (i.e. contracts, prescriptions). Monitor the operational performance of the contractors and their crew
  • Staff Management - Monitor engagement, workloads, and training requirements to ensure the quality of staff outputs is in line with company standards and expectations
  • Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality - Ensure all staff and operations are compliant with the health and safety standards set out at a National, Regional and internal staff level.
