Cloudy Bay’s outdoor garden restaurant, Jack’s Raw Bar, is coming back to Marlborough again this summer. As a major element of our visitor experience, the opening of Jack’s Raw Bar brings much anticipation and excitement each year. We’re looking for a sous chef who aligns with our values and wants to learn and grow with us and represent the brand from a culinary perspective.
You will use seasonal and local products which lends perfectly to the Cloudy Bay wine experience. Bring your food experience and top-standard customer serviceability to create authentic gastronomic experiences for our guests.
In this role, we’re seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Commis Chef with passion and energy to contribute to the reputation of Cloudy Bay and to enhance the overall customer experience. Jack’s Raw Bar is set up outside as an open kitchen and involves facing and interacting with customers as you work. We are open seven days a week for lunch and special dinner events when required, so successful applicants will need to be available to work flexible hours including weekends and public holidays from the beginning of December through to end of April.
