As a Graduate QA Automation Engineer, you will be a working in a collaborative scrum environment with a diverse, friendly team. We work in a hybrid environment but mostly from home, coming into the office for key ceremonies and meetings every Wednesday or when required.

You’ll be responsible for upholding the quality of the product and its automated solutions, building on our industry-leading frameworks in the API, UI and mobile space. You will bring your fresh thinking and talent to continuously improve and enhance test coverage and efficiency, and ultimately contribute to building and delivering great software.

  • Knowledge of good software development practices and current methodologies and tools such as BDD with Gherkin
  • An understanding of how automation fits into the wider QA strategy.
  • Ability to build and maintain test automation solutions and frameworks using C#, Java or Selenium.

Responsibilities

  • Create detailed and accurate test plans and BDD scenarios based on requirements and acceptance criteria.
  • Build upon an existing framework to develop amp; execute automated test plans against developed features. Identify and report defects, work with team to resolve.
  • Perform testing across a range of areas - Front end/UI, database, API, regression amp; smoke testing
  • Configure, use, and manage test data and environments in strict accordance with all internal and customer security standards.
  • Be part of the solution actively contribute to team discussions, raise ambiguities, provide ideas and expertise.
  • Take responsibility for estimating, planning, and progress reporting on your tasks and ensure they are done quickly and accurately.
  • Create and maintain appropriate documentation where necessary

Requirements

To be eligible for our graduate roles, you must:

  • Have completed your bachelor’s, Diploma or Certification in an Australian or New Zealand institution
  • Have recently completed or due to graduate mid-2022
  • Have Australian or New Zealand Citizenship or NZ Permanent Residency.
  • Less then 1 years relevant professional experience.
