The Role
You are a proven SAP Change amp; Release Manager having worked in complex SAP environments. You are used to ensuring all SAP Test and Release are delivered and plan and oversee successful roll out of SAP Changes. You are also able to suggest changes to the SAP landscape with experience of overall view of the SAP landscape. You are used to working in regulated environments and you have a breadth of knowledge within SAP Change amp; Release Management.
The Role:
You will own and manage SAP change request process and you will proactively schedule mandatory amp; regulatory changes in the SAP environments. You will have overall management, planning and scheduling of releases to the production SAP environments, ensuring those releases are successfully deployed to the production environment in a controlled and systematic way. You will be co-ordinating tests, releases and deployments across multiple teams with Management and co-ordination of Environments, including the management of technical and functional changes made by multiple external third-party suppliers.
You’ll have:
- Strong understanding of operational readiness of services
- DevOps experience highly desirable
- Team player essential
- Substantial programme and BAU experience in test, release and deployment
- Strong understanding of IT services, service readiness and the required deliverable / outcomes
- Ability to manage multiple release / deployment teams
- Ability to be flexible and work analytically in a problem-solving environment.
- Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable engaging with stakeholders of all levels
- Proven ability working in a complex SAP landscape
- ITIL Certification desirable
What you’ll bring
You’ll have plenty of experience leading Change and Release management across all SAP modules is essential you will have put in place greenfield and improved and managed existing change and release processes.
You’ll be comfortable with all relevant technical possibilities of SAP S/4 and have a desire to understand the customer’s problem to ultimately craft and design solutions for the many and varied challenges you’ll face.
