Datacom operate Digital Engineering teams across Nelson, Christchurch and Dunedin where we provide an extensive range of software development resources across a wide range of projects utilising a broad array of development technologies.

Our team
The Software Build team is part of our Microsoft Software amp; Cloud Solutions group. We provide high value custom web solutions and consulting services to leading Australasian businesses and government agencies. We create web, Azure and Microsoft stack solutions of every size, but always crucial to the client’s operations.

About the Role
You’ll find a refreshing variety of work here; we do everything from boutique websites, through to large bespoke .NET jobs. We have teams who specialise in every area of tech, so you can learn from the best. You’ll also find that you are involved in the full SDLC, from presales and RFP stage through to delivery.
Skills and Requirements
•A confident technical background and experience with .NET Core amp; .NET Framework
•Experienced in modern web frameworks such as ReactJS and AngularJS
•Comfortable working with wide range of Azure PaaS offerings (Web apps, Storage, SQL, Queues)

What you'll bring
With 5+ years as a .NET dev, you will be confident developing in C#, HTML and JavaScript. You should have knowledge about today’s major platforms (Angular, React, APIs, Azure through to the zen of DevOps) and know how to code and deliver effectively as a team using agile methodologies. You have passion about technology and an unrelenting desire to learn and grow, and that's where we can help.
