About this role...

This is a fantastic opportunity to join our D365 team as a Project Coordinator. Your role is to provide support via the function of Operations and Compliance for projects delivered within Datacom.

The Project Coordinator provides coordination and administrative support for all project management activities including; resource scheduling, utilisation reporting, project workspace creation and financial management support.

This role is seen as a pathway to the Project Management discipline and as such is also responsible for the successful delivery of minor projects, ensuring that all contracted requirements are delivered at the expected level of quality, to space, within budget and on schedule.

The Project Coordinator role ensures that all contracted work, outside of BAU Managed Systems work, are captured, financially administrated, resourced, and reported to the required standards.

The core objectives and responsibilities of the Project Coordinator include:

  • Resource allocation support and on-going tracking to contracted works
  • Project administration for PMO governance compliance
  • Reporting and financial administration
  • General project administrative tasks
  • Contractor administration and inductions
  • Assistance to project managers and practice leads
  • Coordinate and work with Regional Admin Project Administrators

  • Best practice knowledge of the key elements of the IT Project Management
  • Financial controller or financial administrative background
  • Broad understanding of ERP projects and related technology dependencies
  • Ability to follow through and complete tasks
  • Coordination of project teams and small projects
  • Ability to prioritise and schedule staff based on availability
  • Excellent customer relationship building and management skills
  • Some basic project management experience and understanding of Microsoft Project
  • Proven negotiating skills with the aptitude to ensure win/win situations for all parties
  • Proven analytical and problem solving skills
  • High level of interpersonal skills including written, verbal and presentation skills
  • Delivering small to medium projects
  • Continual up skilling and learning new technologies
  • Help drive the profitability of contracts/accounts Experience
