As the General Manager - APAC, you’ll play a key leadership role and culture keeper in the New Zealand business and eventually other markets such as Australia in the region. Responsible for finance and operational matters and acting an inspirational leader for our Auckland, Wellington and remote offices, closely supporting our CEO who is based in the US.

Our goal is rapid growth, and we’re looking for someone that is excited by this. You’ll be instrumental in driving the commercial strategy and delivering growth revenue targets. Critical to your success will be your ability to drive staff engagement, commercial outcomes, as well as customer satisfaction and long-term loyalty.

  • Support organic and inorganic growth and business acquisition into other markets
  • Evangelize and demonstrate through behavior and words, the company mission, vision and core values to employees
  • Manage budgets responsibly, but in a pragmatic and balanced way
  • Lead culture, engagement and leadership initiatives
  • Create a diverse and inclusive culture
  • Support and lead business development, and sales opportunities
  • Support recruiting, and retention activities.

Requirements

This job is for you if you:

  • Have a transformational and passionate leader who lives and breathes customer centricity
  • Have a track record of running a successful department with demonstrated revenue growth
  • Have held senior leadership positions at services and product companies alike to bring outside perspectives and experiences to help Provoke evolve.
  • Strong relationships and contacts within the Microsoft US and NZ/AUS subsidiaries
  • Delivered strong revenue growth our year over year goal is 25% +
  • Skilled in planning, budgeting, people development, organisational design and development, particularly creating a diverse and inclusive culture
  • Experience analysing market trends, competitor landscapes, target markets and positioning businesses to maximise the opportunities
  • Have worked in and understand services environment
  • Are persistent to ensure goals are achieved, but know when to pivot
  • Strong financial literacy and the ability to interpret and manage financial information and multiple business unit Pamp;L’s
  • A collaborative style, with the confidence to proactively engage stakeholders across the business
  • Able to foster effective relationships with third parties
  • Willing to roll up your sleeves to do the work as much as leading teams to do the work
  • Comfortable working within and leading in a matrixed environment
