Trainee and Experienced Pest Service Technicians Wanted

Start 1 September with full training provided

Pest Control Service Technician (approx. 8 months fixed term)

We are seeking experienced and in-experienced people to train in pest control, focusing on domestic customers using targeted treatments that minimise chemical application with effective results.

We need extra team members to join us for the busy summer season to deliver pest control services to customers across the entire Napier/Hastings region. A company vehicle will be provided for you to travel from your home address to work in nearby areas on a daily basis.

We’re looking for people who are willing to learn and go the extra mile in customer service, who like working outdoors, enjoy interacting with a variety of customers and who can make the Rentokil Service special. This is a fixed term, full time role for 40 hours a week - with some weekend work may be required.

In this role you will be responsible for:

• Carrying out various pest treatments on residential properties using industry best practice
• Interacting daily with customers,building rapport and delivering a high standard of service
• Complying with Health and Safety regulations

Experience is not necessary, but you must have:

• Ability to work to a planned, time-based work schedule
• A valid New Zealand drivers licence (restricted licence OK / ability to drive manual preferred)
• Be a self-starter and motivated when working independently
• Ability to manage, maintain and build great customer relationships
• Appreciation for high quality standards with ability to assess from a customer's perspective
• Practical, flexible and a problem solver
• Reliable, honest and flexible
• Physically fit,energetic and well presented
