About the Role
We are growing our global community of creative and like-minded individuals and are looking for a junior digital graphic designer to join us.
This is a great opportunity to join a global brand based in Wanaka, New Zealand. You will be working closely with the support of the Senior Designer, you will have daily guidance and mentorship when required and enjoy bringing the creative and marketing teams ideas to life.
The graphic and online designer is a tactical and important role, responsible for executing across our global digital touch points. Working as part of the marketing team this role will require strong collaboration skills and agility. This role requires a digital native mindset.
Requirements
Skills amp; Experience:
+ Graphic Design Degree and/or 5 years of relevant experience
+ Can show evidence of creative digital amp; print design concepts
+ Can show experience working within a design team.
Day to day you will be:
+ Designing, building and uploading EDMs
+ Designing amp; creating social media advertising, stories and content.
+ Designing all business collateral ensuring our recently completed brand guidelines are followed and built upon
+ Batch processing imagery, editing and organising for use by design team and external partners
+ Helping the marketing design team where needed.
To do this you will know how to use;
+ The Adobe Suite specifically Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign
(After Effects, Premiere Pro for Video editing and animation a nice bonus).
And also use these, or be willing to learn;
+ Shopify
+ Facebook/Instagram Creative Studio
+ Klaviyo
You should also be:
+ Motivated by the energy of the mountains and the activities they inspire
+ Proactive with attention to detail
+ Fast, organised and resourceful
+ A positive team player, open to collaborative and reactive work flows who handles constructive feedback well.
This position is full time 8.30am 5pm working in our office based in Wanaka.
You must have the right to work in New Zealand.
