What will you do?
You’ll join our clever team of Project Managers and technology experts. You’ll add huge value through your passion for delivering software projects to a high standard.
Fronting the relationship with our clients you’ll manage the project and project team. You’ll be effective at successfully managing change, issues and risks throughout the project life cycle. Day to day you’ll:
- Manage the four essentials: delivering on time, on budget, to scope and of high quality that meets customer needs (clichéd but vital)
- Be a trusted partner to our clients
- Promote a strong customer experience culture
- Demonstrate strong leadership and motivation skills, helping galvanize the team to effectively deliver on project milestones
- Forecast monthly revenue, monthly financial reporting and generating timely accurate client invoicing
- Build and maintain strong relationships ensuring customer expectations are managed
- Work with your Sales colleagues, helping to support the sales process, whilst delivering effective commercial documentation
- Work with your wider Engagement and Sales Team to drive successful portfolio outcomes, thinking holistically as to how we can support our customer’s strategic business objectives
Requirements
You’re just what we’re after if you have:
- Senior level PM experience, specifically delivering on software development projects and the willingness to mentor others
- Well-rounded knowledge of core project management competencies such as project planning, risk and issue management, financial management, scope and change management, stakeholder management.
- Experience working in a vendor environment managing complex stakeholder relationships and writing SoW and RFPs
- A technical background (started your career in a Dev or Infra role)
- A Cloud first mentality with a passion for new technology
- An understanding of DevOps fundamentals

The salary range for this role is $120,000-$140,000 and in addition to your base salary, our Kiwisaver contributions are on top of your base, we provide you with health insurance and your mobile phone plan covered as well. No one likes to work on their birthday, so we give you the day off fully paid! We also have an active social club and of course a really great team of people to work with.
This role is based in Auckland, applicants must be in New Zealand to be considered. Provoke is an accredited employer and can provide visa sponsorship.
