Sudima Hotels are playing an essential role assisting the New Zealand Government with their programme of Managed Isolation and Quarantine as part of New Zealand’s ongoing COVID-19 response. We’re proud to be doing our part to keep our communities safe and provide a home away from home for returning kiwis. In our operation as an essential service, we must adhere to strict guidelines provided by MoH and MBIE for the health and safety of our guests, staff, contractors and communities, including ongoing infection prevention controls, regular testing and vaccination against covid-19.
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a full time Duty Manager to join our fun dynamic Team working across 2 graveyard shifts and 3 day shifts per week on a rotating roster. You will have experience in a similar role in a hotel environment. You will be passionate, well organised, enjoy training and developing team members and be able to demonstrate your flexibility to support your team as and when required. Ultimately, you will be responsible for ensuring our guests receive a memorable guest experience that is tailored to their individual needs.
Requirements
- Minimum 18 months year as a Senior Receptionist or Duty Manager
- Experience in Night Audit
- Valid General Managers Certificate
- Excellent knowledge of Rotorua and surrounding area
- Willing to work flexible hours as required
- Proven experience leading a Team
- Current First Aid certificate preferred
- Ability to work a variety of shifts including Morning, Evenings and Night Shifts; Weekends, Public Holidays.
