About The Team
You will work with a close knit, collaborative in house legal and commercial team that is geographically dispersed throughout AU and NZ. About The Role
In this role you will -
- Support the business in their customer and supplier engagements through offering insightful, timely and accurate advice
- Be an active part of a core legal and commercial team with expertise in technology contracts and engagements
- Assess legal and commercial risks in relation to the business activities of Datacom and working closely with the business in terms of legal support required.
- Work with the business to review customer RFPs, pre-sales activities and advise on potential risks and opportunities
What You’ll Bring
- 5-8 years Post Qualification experience in a similar in house or private role with a focus on technology services and contracts
- Experience with Government procurement; technology projects and services in the Government sector
- Privacy, data protection and IP experience
- Strong ability to analyse both legal and commercial risks in technology contracts
- Exceptional, demonstrated experience in clearly explaining legal concepts to business stakeholders
